Development including affordable housing options in Truckee, CA
This new neighborhood development is
located in the hwy 89 north corridor between the new junior high
school and Pine Forest subdivision. Property offerings will include
30 affordable housing duplexes and 36 single family homes.
Developers hope to be under way with the 1st phase of 14 Duplex
Units by mid August and 1st phase of 15 Single Family Homes by September.
Futher development progress this year will be weather permitting.
The affordable housing Duplex units will be Deed Restricted and
buyers will need to qualify with a maximum income of 120% of the
Nevada County median income and depending on household size. These
units will be priced around $300,000 and are being offered with
$40,000 downpayment assistance to those who qualify.
The Single Family Home offerings will be market based and non-restrictive
as far as income and deeded ownership. Pre-construction pricing
will start around $475,000 for 1,400 sq. ft. homes up to $580,000
for 2,030 sq. ft. homes.
