The Resort at Squaw Creek continues renovations of its units into
condos for private ownership. The idea behind the high end condos
is that owners will be able to occupy the property when they want
to and when they are not there, can rent out their property to big
name companies that commonly occupy the resort along with individuals
who commonly vacation at Squaw. The rental program will not be mandatory,
but it offers a great investment because the resort attracts quite
large numbers for the area.
Although 2004 was a slow year for the Resort at Squaw Creek, the
resort had an occupancy rate of 48%. This means that when you are
not there you should be able to rent out your property (should you
choose to) almost 1/2 of the year. The most affordable room reservation
at the slowest time of the year at Squaw Creek is $145 per night.
